10 days in Peru - Cusco, Marasal, Sacred Valley, quadtour
Next morning we looked around in the city center in Cusco and in the afternoon we had an organized tour to Sacred Valley via an travel agency. About 45 km far away from Cusco. We visited the Marasal, a very interesting salt evaporation ponds. The enviroment was beatutiful with the big mountains in the distance. Then a short shopping at a „salt-shop”.

A bit later we took part to a quad tour in the in the countryside. Everybody got their own maschine. A guide at the front of the line and another one at the back. It was a good adventure but what is more important is that it was beautiful. We drove into the sunset.
We went to the inca laboratory where the incas experimented with different plants a thousand years ago. It was a very interesting terrace.
When we started the tour the sun was still shining, but when we arrived back to the starting point it was total dark already. It was a bit exciting because the quads had no headlights so in the dark without lights ... mmm... it was kinda interesting. But it was no problem, everybody arrived back to the starting point.
