10 days in Peru - Machu Picchu the Old Mountain
The next day was one of the best of our journey and the last day of our 4-days adventure. We visited the Machu Picchu, the Old Mountain. We had to wake up very early in the morning around 5 am. We wanted to arrive Machu Picchu before the crowd. The weather was not so friendly this day, it was rainy, a bit foggy and cold. Some of our group member went up to the mountain on foot, but we choosed the bus shuttle. It was very exciting when a mountain appeared among the clouds and after few seconds it suddenly disappeared again.
We walked through the historical ruins of Machu Piccu in the rain. It was amazing to walk between this hundreds of years old buildings. Icredible construction was built on a mountain ridge on a 2.430 meter by the Incas. But you can check the „boring” details on Wikipedia, I would rather show you some pics I took of Machu Picchu.
