A short weekend among the mountains of Austria - hiking in Praebichl (the 1st day)
I spent 2 and a half days in Praebichl in last August with my friends. This is a small Austrian village in the middle of the Austrian Alpen. It used to be a train station. This could be a perfect choice for skiing in the winter as well. But in the summer it is an excellent place for hiking: beautiful mountains, good weather, green forests and the pure nature.

On the first day we went hiking up to the nearest mountain. A beautiful path lead up to the top of the mountain. We had a short break in the Loebner Hütte, where you can have a delicious lunch. My choice was the Kaspressknödelsuppe alias cheese dumpling soup. Meanwhile we had our lunch, the weather became very cloudy and it started to rain. So ...The conclusion? You definitely need a waterproof raincoat and hiking shoes in the summer too because the weather can change in a minute among the mountains.
