An unplanned weekend in Italy, Venice (2nd day)
On the second day me and my friends wanted to visit Venice or as the Italians say Venezia. We joined to a boat tour to go to Venice from Lido di Jesolo. It was a special experience to see this beautiful city from a boat. Several small bridges and old buildings. I think Venice is one of the most romantic cities in the world and one of the most beautiful cities of Italy.
Our trip was in a perfect time in Venice in the spring, because in the summer the weather is too hot for sightseeing. Nice walk in the city, gondola tour on the waterways, to admire the hundreds of years old buildings, the Grand Canal, the St Mark's Square alias Piazza San Marco and the St. Mark's Basilica alias Basilica di San Marco, Doge’s Palace alias Palazzo Ducale, the Campanile, the Clock Tower alias Torre dell'Orologio, the Bridge of Sighs over the Rio di Palazzo - unforgettable experiences.
