4 days in London – Sky Garden, Platform 9 3/4, Cambridge (3rd day)
On the 3rd day we were ready for a special experience. So we went by train to downtown, and we made a short walk among the skysrapers and finally we got to the „Walkie-Talkie” tower. The Sky-Garden is the highest public garden of London. The Walkie-Talkie is a 36 level height building with a glass dome on the top floor and it has an outdoor teracce.
You can visit the Sky-Garden for free but it is recommended to book a ticket for your free entry especially on weekends. And one more important thing is that you have to bring a photo ID with you to get in.
After the Sky-Garden we went to the King's Cross railway station because we were going to Cambridge from here. But there was another reason as well: you can find Platform 9 ¾ (the brick wall between platforms 9 and 10) from Harry Potter movies. You can also find the original Harry Potter souvenirs shop here too.
In this afternoon we went for a trip to Cambridge which is famous from its university. So we visited an old college and we had a nice walk in the historical district of Cambridge. And if you are there you can take part in a pleasant boat ride on the River Cam.
