With my girlfriend we decided to put some adventure into the winter break between Christmas and New Years eve – skibreak in the Austrian Alpen - Innerkrems, Katschenberg
Our last day was more busy as the days before with a lot of sights: London Eye, Big Ben, Westminster Bridge, Palace of Westminster, Trafalgar Square, the Nelson’s Column, National Gallery, Downing street 10, Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus ...
On the 3rd day we were ready for a special experience. The Sky-Garden is the highest public garden of London. After the Sky-Garden we went to the King's Cross railway station, visited the Platform 9 ¾ and in the afternoon we went on a trip in Cambridge.
Our first destionation was the historic castle, Tower of London and the north bank of the river Thames. A bit later we jumped into an Uber boat and went to Greenwich. In the afternoon we got a bit unique but very quick experience. We visited the Emirates Air Line, aka the London Cable Car.
I spent with my girlfirend 4 days in London in the end of the summer. On our first day we visited the British Museum, St. Paul's Cathedral, Millenium Bridge, London Bridge and had a a good dinner the historical pub Anchor on the south bank of the River Thames.
Last morning we had to check out till 10 am. We planned our way back home through Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. So the way was a bit longer but it was worth to keep a break in Ljubljana.
On the 2nd day in the morning me and my girlfriend walked into the city center of Bled which was about 2 km far away from our apartment. We had a good caffee and we tried the famous Bled cream cake alias Blejska kremšnita. After our coffee break we went to the Castle of Bled.
I spent a long weekend with my girlfriend in Slovenia at lake Bled. It’s one of the most beautiful place in this country and a popular tourist destination. There is a lot of possibility to hiking, bike riding, to go boating, have nice walks, castle, restaurants, rafting, beach – what do you need for a memorable vacation.
Last morning we had time to visit the richest region of Lima, the ocean coast and Miraflores. We planned just an easy sightseeing but instead of I got an unexpected final experience from Peru.
Next day in the early morning – could you guess? lol – we left our hotel to see the culmination of our journey – the Rainbow Mountain alias Vinicunca or Winikunka. We went by bus shuttle from Cusco with its 3500 meters to the mountain up to 4700 meters.
The next day was one of the best of our journey and the last day of our 4-days adventure. We visited the Machu Picchu, the Old Mountain. The weather was not so friendly this day, it was rainy, a bit foggy and cold.
Next morning we got a very new experience - again. Zipline over the river Urubamba. 4 sections in different length: 300 – 700 meters. After the zipline we had a dinner and then we had a 10 km walking next to the rails of the perutrain to Machu Picchu.
The Jungle hiking trail - 27 km walk on the inca trail or inca camino. We started at 7am in the morning. The first part of the trail was flat but after that we had to climb the mountains. The wheather was hot, but our guide suggested is better to wear a long sleve shirt and throusers because of the mosquitos.
Next morning started our real adventure - 4 days full of experiences. Downhill from Abra Malaga with 4300 meters to aproximately 2000 meters on a winding road, a 40-50 km long serpentin. And later rafting on the river Urubamba.
Next morning we looked aronund in the city center in Cusco else and in the afternoon we had an organized tour to Sacred Valley. We visited the Marasal and we took part to a quad tour.
Me and 6 of my friends planned a 10 days long adventure in Peru. Our destination was Cusco. Cusco gave us an unusual experience because this city is located at an altitude of 3500 meters and we felt this in our breathing as wel
On the second day I and my friends wanted to visit Venice or like the Italian say Venezia. We joined to a boat tour to go to Venice from Lido di Jesolo. I think Venice is one of the most romantic cities in the world and one of the most beautiful cizies of Italy.
On a weekend in April my friends went to Italy by car. The destinations were Jesolo and Venice. They had an empty place in the car else, so it was no question for me, I joined to them anyway.
The 3rd day was our last day in Iceland. Our plane left in the late afternoon so we had time to see a few more sights in this area on the Reykjanes Peninsula: Fagradalsfjall Volcano, Brimketill lava rock pool, Reykjanes Lighthouse, Valahnúkamöl cliffs and the Gunnuhver hot springs.
Ont he second day we wanted to visit glaciers but the weather prevented it. In the morning we couldn’t go out from Reykjavík because the city was closed. But the weather became much better in the afternoon so we could go away from Reykjavík. Our destination was the Blue Lagoon this afternoon.
